zChocolat's Easter Collection
It's no secret that I love chocolates. I love how it slowly melts in my mouth producing a feeling of oral happiness. That's why when zChocolat got in touch with me and offered to send me one of their chocolates, I was beyond excited to share it with you all about them and their extraordinary tastes.
zChocolat is a French Luxury Chocolate company which was founded by chocolatier Jean-Philippe Khodara in 1999. The quality of these chocolates are simply superb and each chocolate is created with love and perfection.
zChocolat is a French Luxury Chocolate company which was founded by chocolatier Jean-Philippe Khodara in 1999. The quality of these chocolates are simply superb and each chocolate is created with love and perfection.
zChocolat comes in the most luxurious packaging ever. You know me, I love nicely done packaging! Now since these are chocolates, the temperature must be consistent in order to preserve them. Well, zChocolat uses a temperature-controlled packaging!
The chocolates came in a big tightly packed box. It was surrounded by four (4) cold ice slabs inside to maintain a stable temperature until delivery. That's how I like my chocolates delivered! There's this black pouch with pocket. It came in a sleek black box with a decorative egg insignia — an attractive nod to one of the season's most recognizable symbols, a little book guide of zChocolat chocolates, and a card with message from Margaux who was generous enough to send me these delicious treats.
One thing I was pleasantly surprised to discover was all the fun shapes the chocolates came in! Each box is filled with shaped confections such as seashells, crabs, carps, oysters, mussels, fish, bunnies, chickens, chicks, and eggs, all rendered in delightful detail. These carefully shaped confections are a traditional part of European Easter celebrations — fish is a symbol of the traditional Christian faith, eggs represent life, and bunnies are a symbol of spring and fertility. I loved how they incorporated all these symbols for this Easter Collection because it truly makes a meaningful Easter gift for your special someone.

Don't worry, I'm sending you virtual chocolates. Hehe
DeleteI absolutely love their chocolates! I feel so blessed they are actually sold in our country, otherwise I'd have to pay the pricey fare to get to here.
ReplyDeleteI reserve my judgement on the taste for obvious reasons. Having said that, at first I was wondering what that package was. It turns out its CHOCOLATE! WOW! The packaging is to die for, isn't it? Absolutely gorgeous packaging. Ummm, that added to the cost too! :)

That chocolate was very decadent. Beautiful packaging, very detailed in the shapes and designs of each specific chocolates and climate controlled packaging. It a must for a true chocolate aficionado.
ReplyDeleteI love chocolate but to be honest, this particular one is very expensive. I have bought the real deal in Belgium for 60 euro a kilo and it was delicious. It's nice that they put a big accent on packaging and make sure the chocolate won't melt though.

ReplyDeleteAww! Too bad Easter is over. Those chocolates look amazing. If I wasn't on prep right now, I would be ordering a huge box of them (give me 5 minutes and I'll end up on their website buying some hahaha).
